Texas Teacher Quality Grant Program


Lamar State College-Orange offers professional development to area EC-12 grade teachers in the area of mathematics. This training is possible through the Texas Teacher Quality Grant Program. The sessions begin with a 60-hour summer session, usually in June, followed by a school-year program, which meets one full day each month from August through May.

Current Grants:

  • Vertical Teaming: Connecting Grades 8-11 TEKS and TAKS Objectives
  • Building Vertical Teams and Understanding of EC-4 Math TEKS and TAKS
