Students who do not possess high school diplomas or who have not passed the General Education Development tests are required to demonstrate the ability to benefit from the education programs offered at Lamar State College-Orange.
Students must demonstrate the
ability to benefit by taking the ASSET test and achieving the following
minimum scores determined by the Department of Education: reading, 34;
writing, 34; and numerical, 33. Contact the Testing Center, (409) 882-3330,
